In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of skilled plumbers, coordinate with project managers, and ensure that all plumbing systems are installed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your expertise in construction plumbing, blueprint reading, and mechanical systems will drive project success from start to finish. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of plumbing installers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install plumbing systems according to project specifications. Install, assemble, and connect plumbing components using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques. Coordinate with construction teams to ensure plumbing work aligns with HVAC systems, carpentry, remodeling efforts, and other trades on-site. Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while managing materials and equipment necessary for plumbing installations. Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to plumbing systems; perform repairs or modifications as needed during installation or remodeling projects. Maintain detailed documentation of work progress, safety inspections, and compliance records throughout each project phase. Skills Extensive experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of pipe threading, schematics, and blueprints. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and HVAC systems related to plumbing installations. Strong mechanical knowledge including pipe fitting, assembly, remodeling techniques, and schematic interpretation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced construction environment. Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and the ability to enforce safety standards among team members.
