In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing work meets safety standards and project specifications, contributing to the successful completion of commercial and residential projects. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing layouts. Use hand tools and power tools to cut, thread, assemble, and install piping systems efficiently. Perform welding and pipe threading tasks to ensure secure connections in complex plumbing configurations. Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing work with carpentry, HVAC systems, and remodeling activities. Conduct inspections to verify proper installation and identify potential issues before project completion. Lift heavy materials safely and operate construction vehicles or commercial driving equipment as needed. Requirements Proven experience in construction plumbing, including knowledge of schematics and mechanical systems. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machines. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, HVAC systems, and remodeling processes. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installations. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning. Construction site experience with familiarity in working within safety protocols and building codes. Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience preferred; handyman or remodeling experience is a plus.
