As a Drain Technician - Service, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining drain and sewer systems in residential properties. Determine materials needed for each new project and estimate time and costs. Install, assemble, maintain, and repair pipes and plumbing fixtures. Affix clamps, screws, brazing, soldering, welds, etc., to pipes and tubes. Measure and modify pipes accordingly by cutting, threading, or bending pipes by using specialized tools. Diagnose plumbing problems and work to resolve any issues. Repair or replace damaged parts. Repair water line leaks. Confirm pipe system is air/watertight by performing pressure tests. Keep detailed noted and create work reports documenting projects. Test plumbing and other installed fixtures to ensure proper functioning. Follow state laws and regulations and adhere to local building codes. Complete all required documentation, including checklist, including recording model, serial numbers, and install date recorded in Service Titan on installs and collect, record and deliver fees to designated office administration. Facilitate order for all parts required for appointments and ensure preparedness for the day of install. Perform other duties as assigned.Drain Technician- Service Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program is preferred. Journeyman or Master Plumber license/certification is a plus. Proven experience as a Drain & Sewer Technician, with a strong understanding of residential drain and sewer systems. Proficiency in using drain cleaning equipment, video inspection tools, and plumbing tools. Knowledge of different pipe materials, fittings, and fixtures commonly used in residential drainage systems. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex drainage issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to customers in a clear and friendly manner. Exceptional customer service skills, with a commitment to exceeding customer expectations. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.Drain Technician- Service Interpersonal Qualifications:
