Call to apply now. 973-882-5418 Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment across various construction sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing layouts. Perform assembly tasks for piping systems, ensuring secure connections and compliance with safety protocols. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on plumbing fixtures, HVAC components, and related mechanical systems. Assist with remodeling projects by integrating plumbing components into existing structures while adhering to building codes. Lift heavy materials safely during installation or repair work, demonstrating physical strength and proper technique. Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate tasks efficiently on-site. Experience Proven field service experience in commercial or residential construction environments with a focus on plumbing installation and repair. Minimum 5 years experience preferred. Skilled in plumbing techniques including pipe threading, schematics reading, and system troubleshooting. Knowledge of techniques relevant to pipe joining and system fabrication. Familiarity with HVAC systems, schematics interpretation, and basic math for measurements and calculations. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting, carpentry basics, remodeling projects, and general maintenance tasks.
