In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various plumbing homes. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet safety standards, adhere to blueprints and schematics, and operate efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from remodeling to new construction, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to deliver top-quality results. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment on construction sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing layouts. Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe fittings and system connections, ensuring strong and durable joints. Conduct heavy lifting of pipes, fixtures, and materials safely while adhering to safety protocols. Utilize construction knowledge to assist with remodeling projects, including carpentry and assembly tasks related to plumbing fixtures. Troubleshoot mechanical issues within plumbing systems and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) units to optimize performance. Follow schematics and technical instructions for complex installations or repairs on commercial or residential projects. Operate a variety of construction site equipment including hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading machines with precision. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and project progress for quality assurance. Support other handyman or construction crew members in completing remodeling or construction tasks as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing installation and repair techniques. Hands-on experience with welding, pipe threading, and working with schematics or blueprints. Knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical principles related to plumbing operations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on safety standards. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, construction site safety procedures, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Construction site experience including remodeling projects or commercial building environments is highly desirable. Strong mechanical aptitude combined with carpentry skills or handyman experience is a plus. Valid driver's license for commercial driving may be preferred for specific job assignments.
