Residential Plumbing & HVAC Estimator

Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Residential Plumbing & HVAC Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for assessing residential plumbing, heating, and cooling service needs, preparing accurate estimates, and helping homeowners understand repair and replacement options. The ideal candidate has experience with residential service plumbing, furnaces, HVAC systems, and other home mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities Meet with homeowners to assess plumbing, heating, and cooling issues. Diagnose problems and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions. Prepare accurate cost estimates for plumbing, furnace, and HVAC services. Explain services, materials, and pricing clearly to customers. Coordinate with technicians and service teams to schedule and complete work. Maintain detailed records of estimates, job scopes, and customer interactions. Ensure estimates follow company pricing guidelines and industry standards. Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships. Qualifications Experience in residential plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical estimating preferred. Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, furnaces, heating systems, and HVAC equipment. Ability to diagnose service needs and recommend practical solutions. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Skills Experience with service plumbing repairs and replacements. Knowledge of water heaters, drains, gas lines, furnaces, and air conditioning systems. Familiarity with estimating software or service management platforms. Sales experience in home services is a plus.
