Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Apprentice Plumber specializing in Commercial and Industrial projects! This paid apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to develop hands-on skills in plumbing, construction, and mechanical systems within a fast-paced environment. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining valuable knowledge in installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems on large-scale construction sites. Duties Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial plumbing systems using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Support pipe threading, fitting, and assembly tasks to ensure precise and efficient system setups. Learn to operate welding equipment and perform basic welding tasks as needed for pipe connections. Participate in construction site activities including framing, carpentry, remodeling, and general maintenance work. Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites or field service locations. Assist with HVAC system components installation and troubleshooting under supervision. Support the use of mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting plumbing issues and system repairs. Contribute to project cleanup, material handling, and site organization to maintain a safe working environment. Develop skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math calculations relevant to plumbing tasks. Experience Previous experience or exposure to construction sites is highly preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic carpentry or handyman skills is advantageous. Basic understanding of plumbing systems, pipe threading, welding techniques, or HVAC systems is a plus. Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions from schematics or technical drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in building trades or construction-related fields. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
