Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial and Industrial Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction, remodeling, and maintenance projects across commercial and industrial sites. As a Journeyman Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in construction plumbing, blueprint reading, welding, and mechanical knowledge will be essential to ensure high-quality workmanship. This position is ideal for someone eager to apply their hands-on skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to large-scale projects that make a real impact. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain complex plumbing systems on commercial and industrial construction sites using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts. Perform welding tasks as needed to join piping components securely and ensure system integrity. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of plumbing systems, including HVAC-related components when applicable. Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, electricians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless execution. Operate heavy lifting equipment safely for moving pipes and materials around the job site. Follow safety protocols rigorously while working on construction sites or during field service tasks, including heavy lifting and remodeling activities. Qualifications Valid Journeyman Plumber license or certification with proven experience in commercial and industrial plumbing projects. Strong background in construction plumbing, including pipe threading, assembly, remodeling, and maintenance tasks. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing systems. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems and related mechanical components is highly desirable. Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, field service procedures, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on active construction sites or during maintenance operations. Valid driver's license with experience preferred for site access or material transport purposes. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with handyman experience in assembly or remodeling projects are a plus.
