Two Cool Guys Heating & AC is seeking a skilled and motivated Residential New Construction/ Renovation Plumber to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing plumbing systems in new residential construction projects from underground rough-ins through final fixture installation. This position requires the ability to work independently, read plans, coordinate with other trades, and maintain high-quality workmanship while meeting project schedules. Responsibilities Rough Plumbing Installation Install underground waste and sewer piping. Layout and install DWV (Drain, Waste, and Vent) systems. Install water distribution systems using PEX, copper, or other approved materials. Install gas piping systems as required. Rough-in plumbing for kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and utility areas. Install sump pumps, ejector pumps, and backflow prevention devices. New Construction Duties Read and interpret plumbing plans, blueprints, and specifications. Coordinate work with builders, project managers, electricians, HVAC contractors, and inspectors. Ensure all installations comply with New York State Plumbing Code and local municipality requirements. Perform pressure testing and inspections. Maintain clean and organized job sites. Finish Plumbing Install water heaters and tankless water heating systems.
Install customer-supplied fixtures including:
Toilets Faucets Showers and tubs Sinks Garbage disposals Vanities Complete final punch-list items before project turnover. Safety & Quality Control Follow all company safety procedures. Maintain company tools and equipment. Identify and communicate potential jobsite issues. Ensure work is completed efficiently and to company standards. QualificationsRequired Minimum 3 years of residential plumbing experience. Experience with new construction plumbing projects. Ability to read and understand plumbing blueprints. Knowledge of NYS plumbing codes. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred 5+ years of new construction plumbing experience. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
