- Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our construction team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in new construction plumbing, with the ability to operate hand and power tools, and perform heavy lifting. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems on various construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete tasks efficiently Perform remodeling tasks related to plumbing and assist with construction site projects Conduct heavy lifting of pipes, fixtures, and materials safely on-site Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC technicians to coordinate project activities Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment Assist with site inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used Qualifications Proven experience in construction plumbing and general construction site work Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machinery Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and HVAC components Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Basic math skills for measurements and calculations Experience with remodeling, assembly, or maintenance person tasks is advantageous Valid driver's license for commercial driving or site transportation is preferred Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about construction trades to develop their skills further while contributing to high-quality projects.
