Plumber

Under the directions of the Maintenance Manager and/or the department supervisor, provides plumbing and related support for facilities.

EDUCATION

Minimum:

• High School diploma or equivalent

LICENSE:

Valid NYS driver's license clear of violations consistent with FLH Policy

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS

Minimum:

• EPA Certified in refrigerant recovery, Journeyman or Master Plumber, Medical Gas Certification, 1st class or 2nd class Boiler Operator (Stationary Engineer)

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum:

• 1-2 years in building operations and maintenance and professional certification

Preferred:

• 2 years in professional certification

SKILLS:

Minimum:

• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions and established procedures. • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
