Job Description

Kennedy Mechanical is looking to hire multiple Plumbers. Kennedy Mechanical is a well-established company in Rochester, NY and with a large project in the Vestal area. Work schedule will be Monday-Thursday, 10 hour shifts.
Responsibilities:
Understanding of plumbing codes Utilizing various types of power tools Installing natural gas piping systems both steel and corrugated stainless steel tubing Installing sanitary waste and vent systems utilizing Sch 40 PVC, cast iron and copper Installation of roof drains and storm piping systems Installation of domestic hot water tanks and central hot water heating systems Installation of plumbing fixtures including toilets, sinks, showers and accessories Installation repair and maintenance of pump systems Read and understand project drawings and project specifications
Qualifications:
Previous Plumbing Experience Basic hand tool knowledge Self-motivated Mechanically inclined Verbal communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent problem-solving skills Reliable transportation
Physical Requirements:
Tasks include Lifting, Digging, Climbing Ladders, and Entering Small or Confined Spaces Ability to Lift, Pull, Carry, Push up to 50 lbs. Ability to complete repetitive tasks which may include overhead or awkward positioning Job type:

$24-$38/hour
Pay:
$24.00 - $38.00 per hour
