Position Summary The Plumbing Assistant is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service while working independently or as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems Install plumbing systems for new construction and remodeling projects Perform inspections and preventative maintenance Troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions Read and interpret blueprints and building codes Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good condition Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, repairs, and recommendations Complete work orders, reports, and documentation accurately Qualifications Proven experience as a Plumbing Technician or Plumber Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and safety procedures Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Good physical condition and ability to work in confined spaces or at heights Valid driver' s license with clean driving record Strong customer service and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in both residential and commercial plumbing Backflow certification Experience with tankless water heaters and modern plumbing technologies Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Ongoing training and advancement opportunities
