Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing industry while working under the guidance of experienced professionals. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will assist in various plumbing tasks, learn essential skills, and contribute to projects on construction sites. Duties Assist licensed plumbers with installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks. Participate in pipe threading, assembly, and installation of fixtures. Gain experience in construction plumbing techniques and practices. Support field service operations by responding to service calls as needed. Collaborate with team members on construction site projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Develop mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems, HVAC components, and general maintenance tasks. Engage in carpentry work as required for remodeling or repair projects. Experience Previous experience in construction or maintenance person roles is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with construction site environments is beneficial. Basic math skills are essential for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. Exposure to welding techniques is a plus but not required. A willingness to learn about plumbing systems, pipe fitting, and maintenance practices is crucial. Candidates should possess mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to develop their skills in the plumbing trade.
