Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet safety standards, building codes, and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your technical knowledge and hands-on skills to deliver high-quality results efficiently. Responsibilities Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install plumbing systems in new construction, remodels, or maintenance projects Assemble, install, and repair piping systems using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques Conduct routine inspections of plumbing components to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and ensure seamless workflow Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols Read and apply mechanical schematics and blueprints to ensure precise placement of pipes, fixtures, and related components Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for project documentation Skills Extensive experience with construction plumbing practices on commercial or residential sites Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machines Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, HVAC systems, and mechanical principles Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in physically demanding environments Familiarity with remodeling, maintenance tasks, and handyman skills for versatile project support Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations Valid commercial driver's license preferred for site transportation purposes Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety compliance and quality workmanship Join our team as a Journeyman Plumber if you're passionate about delivering top-tier plumbing solutions with precision and enthusiasm.
