Residential Plumbing Service Technician

Position begins daily at our Charlevoix County office each morning and requires travel to residential service calls through out the day. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive plumbing repairs and installations in residential settings, including pipe repairs, fixture replacements, and system upgrades Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and plan repairs Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete tasks efficiently and safely Conduct system inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate, ensuring long-term reliability Assist with remodeling projects by providing plumbing expertise for kitchen, bathroom, or basement renovations Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and safety documentation for each job performed Willing to do rotating on call weekends- premium offered. Experience Proven experience in construction plumbing or related trades with a strong understanding of residential plumbing systems Familiarity with construction site procedures, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation Hands-on experience with welding, pipe threading, HVAC systems, and the use of hand tools and power tools Knowledge of mechanical systems including schematics for plumbing and HVAC components Ability to lift heavy materials safely during installation or repair tasks Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during installations or repairs Prior handyman experience or involvement in remodeling projects is highly desirable Valid commercial driver's license or ability to obtain one is preferred for travel between job sites Join us to bring your construction plumbing expertise into homes where your skills will truly make a difference! Pay:

$26.11 - $31.45 per hour
