Drain Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Drain Technician to join our team. As a Drain Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing drain issues in residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of drain systems to identify issues and determine the appropriate course of action
• Clear clogged drains using various tools and techniques
• Repair or replace damaged pipes, fittings, and fixtures
• Perform preventative maintenance on drain systems to prevent future issues
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Drain Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and practices
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Proficient in using power tools and equipment related to drain repair
• Valid Drivers licence
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Pipe lining experience a plus
