Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Plumber to join our dynamic maintenance department. In this role, you will work indoors with a team of professionals. The position is required to perform the listed duties to minimize equipment downtime, support projects, and ensure that the needs of both plants are met. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Read and interpret blueprints and drawings. Perform pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and assembly to ensure efficient water and waste flow. Collaborate with other trades such as Millwrights, Electricians, Electronic Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and HVAC technicians while responding to general maintenance issues. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with plumbing fixtures, pipes, and related systems. Ensure adequate inventory of necessary plumbing supplies and parts. Perform other related maintenance department duties, as needed. Requirements Valid license as a professional plumber with relevant state or local certification. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Strong mechanical aptitude combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Experience working with Industrial plumbing. Familiarity with HVAC systems, schematics interpretation, and handyman or remodeling experience is a plus. Valid driver's license for commuting between our locations, required.
