Plumbing Assistant

Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Plumbing Assistant and play a vital role in supporting skilled plumbers on a variety of construction, maintenance projects, repairs and Septic. Duties Assist licensed plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites. Prepare work areas by organizing tools, materials, and equipment needed for plumbing tasks. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment to support plumbing operations. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing and mechanical systems. Support site safety protocols by maintaining a clean work environment and following safety guidelines at all times. Help with remodeling, assembly, HVAC components, and general maintenance tasks as directed. Measure materials accurately using basic math skills to ensure proper fitting of pipes and fixtures. Requirements Prior experience or familiarity with construction site, handyman work and Septic is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Basic knowledge of construction plumbing, pipe threading, welding, carpentry, and schematics. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment safely and effectively. Strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in learning about HVAC systems and field service operations. Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions clearly from supervisors. Physical stamina to stand, lift heavy materials, and perform manual tasks for extended periods. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe sizes and layouts.
