Service techs are the face of the company to our current and potential clients. They provide excellent customer service while diagnosing plumbing problems, offering multiple pricing options, and either completing small repairs or sending large projects to the install department. It is imperative that they provide a world class experience. Our clients expect us to show up when we say we will. They want their job performed correctly the first time by someone that they can trust in their home/business. Our clients look to the service tech to be the expert that educates them and provides options so they can make the best decision for their home/business and their family/lifestyle. The service tech should always keep in mind that we are there to take care of the health, comfort, safety, and convenience needs of our clients. When the job is complete, the area should be cleaner than before work began. When the service tech leaves, clients have become loyal, dedicated cheerleaders that not only continue to do business with us, but refer us to their family and friends and leave raving reviews about their experience.
Compensation:
18% Commission for work sold and completed (7% of everything sold, 11% of everything done)
Schedule:
roughly 8-10 hours/day, Monday
  • Friday (no weekends!
) Responsibilities Adhere to our 4-phase service call process. Perform a thorough system evaluation on every service call to uncover, and take photos of, all significant plumbing problems in the home, not just the ones the client called us out for. Perform bucket blast in every home to record water pressure at the water heater and water heater age. Provide clients with multiple options (utilizing photos) to improve their health, comfort, safety, and convenience needs. Follow appropriate communication touchpoints with the customer, dispatch and/or service manager. Maintain a clean and organized truck and work environment. Ensure truck is properly stocked with items needed, including marketing materials, regular inventory, required tools, etc. Take all safety precautions by utilizing all proper safety tools/equipment while performing your work (including safe driving practices). process to avoid recalls and get the job done right the first time. Properly close out each job with photos, payment, invoice summaries, job prep forms, and purchase orders. Attend and be actively engaged in company's training meetings and skill practice sessions. Ask for 5 star reviews with a high success rate. Qualifications 3 years of experience in plumbing. 3 years of home service or sales rep experience. Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build trust and show empathy to others. Confident, able to overcome objections. Team player, asset to company culture. Coachable, willing to learn. Engaging positive attitude that loves to serve and thrives in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment. Ability to understand and utilize company's financing programs. Ability to read blueprints and schematics. Ability to handle physical workload. Experience with Service Titan a plus.
