In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems for businesses and properties sourced through the OneTap app — including restaurants, retail operators, short-term rentals, property managers, and multi-location brands. Your expertise will ensure that all plumbing work meets state and local safety standards, building codes, and customer specifications. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems — including supply and waste lines, fixtures, water heaters, drains, backflow devices, and gas lines (where licensed) — using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Perform pipe threading, fitting, and assembly tasks with precision to ensure leak-free, code-compliant connections. Conduct on-site inspections to diagnose plumbing issues and implement effective, lasting solutions. Safely handle heavy lifting, materials transport, and equipment operation while adhering to OSHA and site-specific safety protocols. Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex plumbing problems and execute repairs or replacements that hold up over time. Accept job assignments through the OneTap app, communicate with customers via OneTap Chat, and document each job with photos, and notes in the platform. Qualifications Valid plumbing license meeting all relevant state or local licensing requirements. Proven experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing, including remodels and new construction. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading devices. Ability to accurately read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Working knowledge of HVAC systems and general mechanical principles is highly desirable. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in varied job-site environments. Solid math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting schematics effectively. Familiarity with construction site safety practices and adherence to local building codes. $1M General Liability insurance (Certificate of Insurance required).
