Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment across multiple job sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications. Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks with precision to ensure leak-proof connections and system integrity. Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to site safety protocols. Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC specialists, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and technical requirements. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with plumbing or related systems such as HVAC or remodeling projects. Conduct basic math calculations for measurements, material estimates, and system specifications as needed for project accuracy. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including schematics updates and inspection reports. Operate construction site vehicles for material transport in accordance with commercial driving regulations when required. Assist in remodeling projects by providing handyman services such as fixture installation or minor carpentry work. Experience Experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing systems installation and repair processes. Hands-on experience with construction site operations, including site safety procedures and teamwork in fast-paced environments. Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, pipe threading, welding techniques, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of HVAC systems or remodeling projects is a plus. Familiarity with construction schematics and technical drawings is essential for accurate execution of tasks. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail throughout complex projects. Prior handyman or remodeling experience enhances versatility within the role.
