Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that all plumbing work meets safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential remodels to large-scale commercial installations, contributing to the creation of safe and efficient water and waste systems. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications. Perform pipe threading, fitting, and assembly to create secure and leak-proof plumbing networks. Conduct inspections on construction sites to verify plumbing work aligns with project plans and safety standards. Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate installation processes during remodeling or new construction projects. Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with plumbing or HVAC systems efficiently. Lift heavy materials safely while adhering to OSHA regulations and site safety protocols. Skills Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations. Skilled in welding, pipe threading, and the use of hand tools and power tools for plumbing installation and repair. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of HVAC systems and schematics related to building services. Familiarity with remodeling projects, assembly work, and handyman tasks on construction sites. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations. Experience with heavy lifting equipment and commercial driving is a plus for transportation between sites.
