Journeyman Plumber

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise in construction plumbing, pipe threading, schematic reading, and mechanical knowledge will ensure that all work meets safety standards and quality expectations. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites and remodeling projects Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and system designs Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machines safely and efficiently Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing installations with carpentry, HVAC, and other trades Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary maintenance or repairs Heavy lifting of materials and equipment required for installation or repair tasks while adhering to safety protocols Perform basic math calculations for measurements, material estimates, and system specifications Requirements Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a valid license or certification in plumbing Extensive construction site experience with knowledge of construction plumbing practices Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical diagrams accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and schematics reading Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems, HVAC integration, and remodeling projects Experience with field service work including troubleshooting and system repairs Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in confined or elevated spaces safely Basic math skills for measurements and calculations needed during installation or repairs Valid commercial driver's license (preferred) for transporting materials or equipment between sites Handyman experience or background in assembly, maintenance, or remodeling is a plus Join our team as a Journeyman Plumber if you're passionate about delivering high-quality craftsmanship on exciting construction projects. $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
