The Plumber Tradeworker is responsible for assisting with the installation, assembly, maintenance, and repair of commercial plumbing systems on construction projects ranging from small tenant finish-outs to large-scale commercial developments. This role works closely with licensed plumbers, foremen, and superintendents to support safe, productive, and quality-driven field operations. Key Responsibilities Assist with the installation of commercial plumbing systems including domestic water, sanitary waste, vent systems, storm drain systems, and underground piping Support layout and installation of piping, fixtures, valves, hangers, and plumbing equipment according to project drawings and specifications Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and construction documents under supervision Cut, thread, assemble, and secure pipes using hand tools and power tools Assist with testing plumbing systems for leaks and functionality Load, unload, transport, and organize tools, materials, and equipment at jobsites Maintain clean and safe work areas in accordance with company and OSHA standards Work alongside field leadership to meet production schedules and project deadlines Communicate effectively with foremen, superintendents, and fellow team members Follow all company safety procedures including proper use of PPE and equipment Participate in training opportunities to continue developing plumbing trade skills Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Minimum 5+ years of commercial plumbing or construction experience required Basic understanding of construction tools and jobsite safety Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations Mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn the plumbing trade Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments Ability to climb ladders, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces when necessary Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred OSHA-10 certification is required. If you currently do not possess an OSHA-10, we will provide the opportunity to complete the course prior to employment.
