Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial buildings, ensuring all work meets safety standards and project specifications. Your expertise will help bring complex plumbing projects to life, contributing to the successful completion of large-scale construction and remodeling initiatives. Duties Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and drainage systems using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and modifications. Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks with precision to meet project specifications. Conduct system inspections to identify issues and troubleshoot mechanical problems related to plumbing and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems. Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, electricians, and other trades to coordinate work on construction sites. Lift heavy materials safely while adhering to safety protocols; perform remodeling and handyman tasks as needed. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for project documentation. Requirements Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing codes and safety regulations. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding equipment, and schematics reading. Knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical principles, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on construction sites. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work. Experience with carpentry or remodeling projects is a plus; familiarity with assembly tasks is beneficial. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or ability to obtain one is preferred for site access requirements. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with handyman experience enhances versatility on diverse projects.
