Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Journeyman Plumber and bring expert craftsmanship to commercial and residential projects! As a skilled tradesperson, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems with precision and efficiency. Your mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience, and ability to read blueprints will be vital in delivering top-quality results on every project. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilize advanced tools, and contribute to building safe, reliable plumbing infrastructure. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation of piping and fixtures. Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing components and troubleshoot issues efficiently on construction sites. Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC technicians to coordinate project tasks seamlessly. Lift heavy materials safely during installation or remodeling projects while adhering to safety protocols. Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex plumbing problems and implement effective solutions. Skills Extensive experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of schematics and technical drawings. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques. Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical schematics for precise installations. Familiarity with construction site safety standards, heavy lifting techniques, and remodeling procedures. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations.
Pay:
$30.00 - $36.00 per hour
