Journeyman Plumber

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise in construction plumbing, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will ensure that all plumbing work meets safety standards and project specifications. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances on construction sites or in existing buildings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble and install plumbing components. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate efficient project progress. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation. Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC specialists, and other trades to coordinate project activities. Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites or in field service environments. Skills Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of pipe installation, repair, and maintenance. 4 years plumbing experience. Sales experience a plus. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and field service procedures. Familiarity with remodeling, assembly work, handyman tasks, and general construction site experience. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary during installations or repairs. Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy lifting, construction site operations, and plumbing work. Valid commercial driver's license preferred for transporting materials or equipment between sites.
