Job DescriptionPerforms repair and preventative maintenance to facility and building systems on CenterInspect the work of other maintenance plumber personnelResearches and recommends purchase of replacement equipment as neededOversees the training activities of students assigned to the maintenance areaOversees the activities and quality of performance of outside contractors performing repairs and/or replacement of equipmentConducts periodic inspections of plumbing systems and equipment to ensure working qualityCoordinates activities with the Construction CTT programs, if applicableCompletes work orders as assigned in a timely mannerProduces quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely and accurate mannerMaintains appropriate personal attendance, accountability, and work productivity standardsPlans, prioritizes, and organizes assignments to meet established goals and deadlinesUnderstands and applies job knowledge to effectively complete all required job responsibilitiesMentors, monitors, and models the Career Success Standards as required by the PRHShows respect and courtesy to students and holds them accountable for their actions and behaviorProvides quality services for students and ensures that quality is maintained, and student needs are metProactively maintains the skills required to perform job dutiesExchanges ideas and information, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner and contributes meaningfully to group efforts by offering relevant ideas and knowledgeProvides quality and timely information to DOL/Company when requestedEffectively articulates thoughts and ideasIdentifies problems, analyzes causes and evaluates appropriate solutions prior to taking or recommending actionsFollow-ups to ensure prompt/appropriate action is taken and that problems are in fact correctedLocates center water and gas valvesQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum of five years' experience in building maintenanceWorking knowledge of plumbing systems, boilers and other building systems preferredAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
