Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential construction sites. Your expertise in construction plumbing, pipe threading, schematic reading, and mechanical knowledge will ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machines to complete tasks efficiently. Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for pipe installation, remodeling, and maintenance projects. Conduct system inspections to identify issues related to HVAC systems, mechanical components, or plumbing fixtures. Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate work seamlessly. Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. Requirements Valid Journeyman Plumber license or certification with proven field experience in construction plumbing. Demonstrated experience working on construction sites with knowledge of heavy lifting and safety protocols. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing and mechanical systems. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and schematic reading tools. Knowledge of HVAC systems, remodeling techniques, maintenance procedures, and handyman skills is a plus. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and material estimations. Strong mechanical aptitude with familiarity in construction site operations including carpentry and assembly tasks. Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience preferred for site access or material transport.
