The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, construction, and related trades, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair residential plumbing systems efficiently. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including remodeling, repairs, and new installations, utilizing a broad skill set in construction and mechanical systems. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair residential plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and fixture replacements Install and upgrade plumbing systems in new construction or remodeling projects Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding equipment to complete tasks Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for pipe installation and system repairs Conduct maintenance on existing plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate plumbing work within larger projects Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times Assist with remodeling projects that involve carpentry, assembly, or HVAC components as needed Qualifications Proven experience in construction plumbing, remodeling, or related trades Knowledge of construction site safety practices and procedures Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, pipe threading, welding, and HVAC systems preferred Experience with hand tools, power tools, schematics reading, and basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in confined spaces or at heights Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience is a plus Handyman experience or general construction background is advantageous Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team on complex projects This position offers an engaging environment for professionals eager to apply their skills in residential plumbing while expanding their expertise across various construction disciplines.
