Overview Join our dynamic team as an Apprentice Plumber and kick-start your career in the construction and plumbing industry! This paid apprenticeship offers a hands-on learning experience, where you'll develop essential skills in plumbing systems, construction practices, and mechanical troubleshooting. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you'll gain practical knowledge in installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing infrastructure across diverse construction sites. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build a solid foundation in the trades while contributing to meaningful projects. Responsibilities Assist senior plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites. Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing systems. Operate hand tools and power tools. Support the assembly and remodeling of plumbing fixtures and mechanical components. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing installations to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and progress updates. Participate in site cleanup, material handling, and preparation tasks to ensure a safe and organized work environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; some background or coursework in construction or mechanical trades is a plus. Basic knowledge of construction practices, plumbing systems, and hand tools. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working at heights if required. Good communication skills and a proactive attitude toward safety protocols on construction sites.
