In this role, you will focus on commercial plumbing in our Special Projects division.

Cut pipe using pipe cutters, port-a-band saw, cutting torch, and pipe cutting machine Thread pipe, using a threading machine Join piping using grooved, threaded, soldered, brazed, fused. Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of metals, such as iron, steel, brass, copper, and nonmetals, such as plastic, using hand tools and power tools Join pipes by use of screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and caulk joints Perform system pressure tests for inspections Test piping systems for leaks Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, water closets, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks and water softeners Perform any other task needed to ensure the proper installation and repair of plumbing equipment and components You should have: Work experience as a Plumber Mechanic for commercial projects. (Journeyman level experience is preferred, but not required) Experience with layouts and ability to read and work from drawings Ability to direct and support the work of a helper or apprentice Safety-minded and knowledge of OSHA safety regulations Initiative; self-motivated, self-starter Knowledge of basic construction/shop math Knowledge of International Plumbing Code (IPC) Positive attitude and willing to work in a team environment Ability to work without direct supervision A reliable source of transportation to and from work How to apply: Apply online at www.
