We are a family owned and operated organization working to make homes great since 1957. We specialize in the installation and servicing of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing , and Windows/Doors in residential homes. Overview We are seeking a motivated Plumbing Trainee/Assistant to join our dynamic team in our Lynnwood location. This position offers hands-on experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair within a fast-paced environment. Ideal for individuals eager to learn and grow their skills in the trades. Duties Work directly with and take direction from a licensed plumber Assist with load/unload equipment, parts, tools and other raw materials into company vehicle to prepare for daily jobs. Assist with all aspects of the plumbing job at the direction of your lead. Help control inventory by not wasting products. Responsible for quality control. No damaged product installed. Keep customers' home clean and free of damage. All other duties as assigned Complete plumbing job logs, complete CEU's, and maintain plumbing trainee card in good standing until able to test Use hand tools and power tools safely to assemble pipes, fittings, and fixtures Support pipe threading, cutting, and fitting processes under supervision Help with remodeling projects, fixture installations, and routine maintenance tasks Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on site Follow safety protocols at all times while gaining practical field service experience
Experience/Skills Requirements:
Willing to learn and become familiar with current plumbing codes Must be able to perform under pressure and work with minimal guidance, be a self-starter Must be organized and thorough with attention to detail Must be comfortable in crawl spaces, attics, and ladders Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and dexterity Must have basic computer skills Strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer service Team oriented Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment with proven ability to work collaboratively with team members. Excellent oral and written communication skills at all levels within the organization
Minimum Qualifications:
Current Plumbing Trainee License required Prefer hands-on residential repair and service field experience Ability to drive company vehicles with valid driver's license High School Diploma or GED equivalent 75% or more of day spent standing, walking, crawling, crouching, stooping, kneeling, lifting and operating tools Ability to lift 50 - 100 lbs. Comfortable working for extended periods in attics and crawlspaces Comfortable working in extreme environmental conditions including: wet and humid weather, working near mechanical or moving parts, working on a ladder or roof, working in extreme cold or hear, in and around electrical, explosive or toxic conditions with the risk of shock, explosions and/or inhalation of particles and fumesCompensation/Other Compensation and Benefits Pay range is $22.00-$30.00 per hour. Pay range is based on experience and trainee hours logged. Medical/Dental/Vision/401K/Life/STD/LTD benefit package for team members and family 401K plan with a match of 50% of the first 4% Company provided uniforms Paid time off- Team members will accrue 80 hours of PTO in their first year. Six (6) paid holidays This is a full-time position with variable hours. Flexibility to work extended hours and work weekends when required. If offered a position all prospective employees are required to undergo a background check and complete a drug test.

$22.00 - $30.00 per hour
