This paid position offers hands-on experience in commercial and residential environments, providing opportunities to develop your skills and advance your career in the plumbing industry. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining exposure to construction plumbing, pipe threading, schematic reading, and mechanical systems. Your enthusiasm for learning and commitment to quality will help ensure our projects meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Responsibilities Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites and service locations Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machines safely and effectively Perform heavy lifting tasks and handle materials with proper safety techniques on construction sites Support the assembly of piping systems, fixtures, and HVAC components according to project specifications Conduct basic math calculations for measurements, pipe sizing, and material estimations Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of waste properly, and adhering to safety protocols at all times Skills Construction site experience with a focus on plumbing or related trades Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machinery Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, HVAC units, and general building maintenance Familiarity with construction plumbing techniques including remodeling, maintenance, and field service work Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and estimations in a construction setting Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during projects Knowledge of schematics for troubleshooting complex piping or mechanical issues Experience with carpentry or handyman tasks is a plus but not required Valid driver's license for commercial driving or field service travel is preferred Embark on a rewarding career path where your skills grow daily through real-world experience!
