Job Description

Pump Shop level 1 Technician - Shipping, Receiving, QC & Equipment Preparation Industrial Pumps of Alaska (IPA)
Location:
Soldotna, Alaska Industrial Pumps of Alaska is looking for a hardworking, mechanically inclined individual to join our growing team. This is a hands-on position that supports pump repairs and shop operations through equipment preparation, quality control, shipping and receiving, and general shop support. This position is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in industrial maintenance, pumps, rotating equipment, or mechanical trades. Responsibilities Clean, prepare, and paint pumps and industrial equipment. Assist with quality control inspections and documentation. Package and prepare equipment for shipment. Receive incoming shipments and verify materials. Load and unload equipment and materials. Organize inventory and maintain shop cleanliness. Assist pump mechanics and technicians with shop activities. Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (training available). Qualifications Mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand and power tools. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to work safely in an industrial shop environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Reliable transportation and attendance. Forklift experience is a plus but not required. Previous experience in construction, maintenance, automotive, fabrication, warehousing, or industrial work is preferred but not required. What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
