Job Description

We're looking for a reliable, safety-conscious Pump Station Mechanic to install, repair, and maintain a wide variety of pumps, motors, and mechanical equipment. You'll work independently in a field environment, troubleshoot equipment issues, and keep pump stations running safely and efficiently. If you're mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with electrical control systems, this role is a strong fit.
Pay:
Up to $25.00 per hour DOE What you'll do Install, overhaul, repair, and maintain pumps, motors, gas/diesel engines, meters, gauges, compressors, blowers, valves, and backchecks Revamp pump stations and maintain 240/480 electrical system control panels Maintain well motors and A/C-D/C control systems Inspect equipment to determine operating conditions and needed repairs Operate power tools; check, adjust, and paint equipment as required Perform and participate in safe confined space entry practices Maintain service records and distribute/complete work orders via CMMS Submit requisitions for equipment and materials; review work orders for priority and completeness Lift up to 80 lbs as required What you need Hands-on experience installing, repairing, and maintaining pumps, motors, and mechanical equipment Knowledge of 240/480 A/C-D/C electrical control systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and written/oral instructions Proficiency with a variety of mechanic's tools and shop equipment Ability to interpret and utilize SCADA systems Self-motivated and able to solve problems independently Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
