Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pump Rig Assistant to join our team. People with experience on a drill rig are encouraged to apply. As a Pump Rig Assistant, you will be responsible for assist in the installation and removal of vertical turbine pumps on a variety of job sites across Southern Idaho, Northern Utah, and Northern Nevada. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the ground water industry, a valid commercial driver's license, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Duties:
  • Operate a pump hoist and boom trucks. All hydraulic equipment, Semco pump hoists (S25,000 & S30,000) and Hunke (60T) equipment in fleet currently.
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition to prevent accidents or breakdowns.
  • Load and unload materials using heavy equipment, including forklifts, boom trucks, and loaders periodically.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations on jobsite to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members to coordinate equipment operation and ensure that job timelines are met.
  • Conduct pre
  • and post-shift inspections of equipment to identify any issues or defects.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed.
  • Experience:
  • A valid commercial driver's license and a good driving record. Class A preferred, Class B required to drive pump truck.
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and repair techniques.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. We work in three man crews and service pump settings anywhere from 40' to 700' in depth.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Commercial driving experience.
  • Ability to work safely and follow safety protocols and regulations.
  • Experience with construction equipment and tools.
