Job Title:

Concrete Mixer Driver & OperatorJob Summary The Concrete Mixer Driver & Operator is responsible for safely operating a ready-mix concrete truck to deliver concrete to construction sites while ensuring timely, efficient, and high-quality service. This role also involves proper operation of the mixer, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with dispatch, customers, and onsite personnel. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a concrete mixer truck to transport and deliver concrete to job sites Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any issues Operate mixer drum and controls to ensure proper mixing, slump, and discharge of concrete Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the mixer truck Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers Accurately complete delivery tickets and required documentation Navigate to job sites, including those with difficult terrain or tight access areas Provide professional customer service at all times Required Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience Clean driving record with no suspensions or major infractions (per insurance requirements) Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening Strong understanding of safety practices and regulations Ability to operate heavy equipment in various weather and job site conditions Preferred Qualifications Previous experience driving or operating a concrete mixer or similar heavy equipment Basic mechanical knowledge of trucks and equipment Skills & Attributes Willingness to learn and continuously improve Comfortable asking questions to ensure safety and accuracy Strong attention to detail Dependable and punctual Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and customer service skills Physical Requirements Ability to climb ladders and access the cab and mixing drum Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs as needed Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work outdoors for extended periods Work Environment Outdoor work in various weather conditions Construction job sites with uneven terrain Early mornings and occasional overtime Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan with an up to 3% company match
