Job Description

Shop Assistant Position Assist shop technicians with maintaining company vehicles and equipment. Assist in keeping tack of preventative maintenance records for all equipment such as: Pick Ups, Concrete Pump Trucks, Concrete Mixer Trucks, Dump Trucks, Conveyor Trucks, Tractors, All trailer types (standard, pneumatic, side dump, etc.), Loaders, Skid Steer, etc Assist in ordering parts for services, repairs and maintenance in accordance with Department of Transportation and company policies, standards and codes Organize and keep records of all parts ordered and stock inventor.
Follows safety rules:
utilizes protective clothing and equipment, reports safety hazards and incidents to supervisor Attend safety meetings when scheduled
