We are a group that is dedicated to our work and strive to show respect to our employees as well as our customers. We are currently seeking a Concrete Pump operator to join our team. Concrete pumps are a straight truck with mounted pump kit that provides a way to move concrete from the discharge of a ready-mix truck to the final placement location. Central West Services does not schedule, lay, or finish concrete. Qualifications:
  • CDL, Class B or A
  • with air brake endorsement, and acceptable driving record
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to be coached and mentored
  • Able to lift/move/carry 50+ pounds regularly
  • Frequently kneel or crouch and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments
  • Must have reliable transportation and be punctual
  • For the right candidate, we will sponsor the federally mandated CDL Driving course.
Sponsorship will be contingent on a service contract of 2 calendar years starting on the first day of employment with Central West Services.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Operate the pump as taught. This will include proper outrigger placement, priming procedure, placement methods, and thorough hopper wash-out.
  • Communicate clearly with our team and site personnel
  • Perform daily required maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance i.e., DOT and pump specific pre-trip, grease back end, fill water tank, maintain fluid levels
  • Perform periodic maintenance items i.e., chip the hopper, grease the boom and chassis, change gaskets
  • Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations Experience is not required; however beneficial skills may include:
  • Mechanical understanding
