Saturday & Sunday (hours flexible) About the Role We're looking for a skilled pump mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the full range of pumps that keep a hospital running: including domestic water, hot water circulation, chilled water, steam, condensate, and boiler feed pumps. You'll work weekends to perform scheduled maintenance and respond to issues with minimal disruption to hospital operations. Responsibilities Inspect, service, and repair centrifugal, positive displacement, and submersible pumps Maintain steam, boiler feed, condensate, and circulation pumps Replace seals, bearings, impellers, couplings, and motors as needed Diagnose mechanical and performance issues; document repairs Follow hospital safety, infection-control, and lockout/tagout procedures Coordinate with facilities/engineering staff on urgent repairs Requirements Proven hands-on experience servicing industrial or commercial pumps Familiarity with steam systems, boilers, and high-pressure water systems Ability to read schematics and equipment manuals Own basic hand and diagnostic tools Reliable weekend availability Hospital or healthcare facility experience a plus

Pay:

$40.00 - $60.00 per hour
