About Us Aqua Management Partners (AMP) is a unique commercial pool service company providing professional installations, equipment upgrades, routine maintenance, emergency repairs and chemical sales to the commercial pool industry. We pride ourselves on delivering reliable, hands-on support tailored to each client's needs in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. What We Offer Competitive pay is based on experience. A company truck and necessary tools are provided. Manufacturer training is provided for most equipment. Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification will be mandated. Position Overview AMP is seeking a dependable and motivated Aquatics Service Technician to join our team.
  • Provide personal service and installations in a way to develop and maintain customer relationships.
  • Assist Business Unit Manager in identifying new opportunities with existing and new customers to support growth goals.
  • Maintain ongoing service routes to facilities holding contracts: including regular water testing, delivering chemicals and troubleshooting system repairs and upgrades of Accu-Tab® chlorinators and new commercial installations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair pumps, filters, heaters, and all other pool equipment.
  • Thoroughly document status and progression of jobs and new installs utilizing NetSuite service platform.
  • Focus and develop job skills through observation and study.
  • Maintain high level of professionalism and workmanship.
  • Ability to work well within a team focusing on tasks at hand showing passion in his/her work. Meet deadlines while thoroughly and efficiently completing job tasks.
  • Additional duties may be added to the position as needed.
  • Required Education and Experience:
  • Pool experience including installing, troubleshooting, repairing aquatic equipment and chemical feed systems is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of water chemistry controllers, filtration, salt and UV disinfection systems, and water management a plus.
  • Minimum twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Must have valid SC or NC driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification
  • Training provided, must obtain within 3 months of hire date.
  • Strong swimming ability to tread water for 10 minutes.
Scuba diving a plus.
Additional Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent attention to detail and minor adjustments.
  • Ability to solve problems and be solution oriented.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when working with internal and external personnel.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical is preferred.
  • Welding skill is a plus.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and equipment needed for in-field troubleshooting and repair.
  • Strong mechanical and conceptual skills, with desire to understand how and why things work.
  • Ability to adhere to and practice safety policies when working with equipment.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move minimum of fifty (50) pounds. This position is Full-Time (Monday
  • Friday) 7:00 am
  • 3:30 PM with flexibility of schedule needed daily.
Some overtime may be required, as well as evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed. Overnight and out of town travel on occasion.
Pay:
$23.00
  • $25.
