Free uniforms Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) 401(k) matching Bonus based on performance Dental insurance Smith Industries LLC is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Hydro Bay Tester to support hydrostatic pressure testing operations in shop and field environments. This hands-on role is ideal for someone mechanically inclined who is comfortable in industrial settings and looking for growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities Assist with setup, monitoring, and breakdown of hydrostatic testing equipment Connect hoses, pumps, gauges, manifolds, and test components Fill, bleed, monitor, and drain systems per procedure Support test documentation and post-test cleaning Load/unload equipment and maintain hydro bay organization Inspect hoses and components for damage Follow all safety procedures, participate in JSA meetings, and maintain proper PPE and exclusion zones
Qualifications Required:
Basic mechanical aptitude Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed Strong commitment to safety
Preferred:
Oilfield, hydro testing, or shop experience Forklift certification Valid driver's license
