Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dependable Tractor Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating tractors equipped with bush hogs and bat wing mowers for land clearing, roadside maintenance, pasture mowing, and general property upkeep. This position requires safe equipment operation, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate tractors with bush hog and bat wing mower attachments safely and efficiently Perform mowing, brush cutting, and vegetation management on fields, roadsides, and commercial or agricultural properties Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance Identify and report mechanical issues or safety concerns Maintain clean and professional job sites Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines Transport and maneuver equipment on varying terrain and job locations Assist with additional land management or equipment operation tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Previous experience operating tractors and heavy mowing equipment required Experience using bat wing attachments strongly preferred Knowledge of safe bush hogging practices and terrain management Ability to operate equipment in rough, uneven, or heavily vegetated areas Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred but not required Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit and operate machinery for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in heat, dust, and outdoor conditions
Schedule & Compensation:
Full-time / Part-time available Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities may be available
Preferred Experience:
Agricultural equipment operation Land clearing or roadside maintenance Trailer towing and equipment transport Commercial mowing operations
