We are looking to add one full-time position to our team. We are a small family-owned company specializing in Metal Fabrication and Multi-Family Stair Systems. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Powder Coater / Sandblaster to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Powder coating supervisor to ensure that all jobs are completed to our quality standards in a timely manner. You will be responsible for prepping material for the powder coat process, sandblasting, applying powder coat, moving material around, and packaging finished products.Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a hands-on attitude with acute attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work a varying schedule as required by production demands.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds as necessary.
- Cleaning of Powder Coating booth and powder guns at the end of shift or during paint changes.
- Inspect material from fabrication shop for successful application.
- Determine flow and coating quality by performing visual inspections.
- Bake parts at appropriate temperatures within time limitations.
- Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the powder coating process.
- Work efficiently under pressure and manage short lead times effectively.
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a focus on producing high-quality work.
- Ability to use a respirator for prolonged periods of time.
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Job Type:

$17.00- $20.00 per hour (D.O.E) Expected hours: 40
