  • Quarry Laborers and Heavy Equipment Operators.
These are full-time, hourly positions with more earning potential during the spring and summer months. No experience is necessary. If you are willing to work, we are willing to train you to operate and maintain heavy equipment. Starting pay is $20.00 an hour.
Job Description Summary:
The successful candidate will be a dependable and self-motivated person who can work in a busy quarry environment. Responsible for driving/operating heavy mobile equipment to move rock product to selected intake crushing/screening site and deposit load into intake area. Perform daily inspection and pre-operation check of equipment and work area. Complete documentation related to these duties. Perform service and maintenance on equipment. Perform general housekeeping duties to continuously maintain a safe, clean work environment. Must adhere to all safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures. Properly follow company policies and
MSHA / OSHA
compliance regulations Perform other duties as required.

Skills and Abilities:
Willingness to learn, take direction and follow safe work procedures Willingness to work weekends and long hours during peak season Capable of working outdoors. Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, sit, squat for periods of time Must be able to work required overtime and flexible work hours Mechanical aptitude (helpful but not necessary) Must be safety-oriented and exhibit safe work habits. Must have good verbal and listening communication skills. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical and background check.
