  • Part-time, Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Powder Coating Technician / Sand Blaster / Mechanic to join our manufacturing team.
In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for preparing metal parts through sandblasting, applying high-quality powder coatings, and performing essential mechanical maintenance to ensure smooth production operations. Your expertise will help us deliver durable, visually appealing products while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about manufacturing, industrial painting, and mechanical work to grow their skills in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for coating, ensuring proper surface profile for optimal adhesion Apply powder coatings using airless paint spraying equipment, maintaining consistent thickness and finish quality Perform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs on production machinery, including welding, machining, and fabrication tasks Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to assemble, disassemble, and troubleshoot equipment issues Handle materials safely using forklifts and cranes, ensuring proper storage and movement of parts within the warehouse or fabrication area Conduct auto body repairs or auto painting as needed for product finishing or repair projects Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency and reduce waste throughout the coating and maintenance processes Requirements Proven experience with industrial painting techniques such as powder coating and auto painting Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in welding, machining, fabrication, and auto body repair Familiarity with materials handling equipment including forklifts and cranes; certification is a plus Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and other manufacturing equipment safely and effectively Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality inspections Knowledge of welding techniques and use of precision measuring instruments for quality control Warehouse experience with materials management and inventory control preferred Strong understanding of lean manufacturing practices to promote efficiency in production workflows Join our team to be part of a vibrant environment where your skills in powder coating, sandblasting, mechanics, and fabrication will make a tangible impact.
