J.C. Marine Service & Fabrication is a yacht service and metal fabrication company specializing in marine services, including sailboat rigging, hydraulic systems, and metal fabrication. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional craftsmanship and service to our clients.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced sailboat rigger to join our team. This role requires extensive knowledge and hands-on expertise in sailboat rigging. Do not apply unless you meet the rigging experience requirements.
Responsibilities:
Replace running and standing rigging. Service and rebuild furling systems. Inspect and maintain deck hardware, clutches, sheaves, and winches. Perform yearly rigging inspections. Step and unstep masts.
Requirements:
Sailboat rigging experience is mandatory. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and professionalism. A positive and energized mindset; ability to work as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a "people person" attitude. Ability to learn and retain new information.
