Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a CDL Driver/Rigger for our Mobile Crane Taxi Fleet, where you will be the backbone of our heavy equipment transportation and rigging operations. This energetic role requires a motivated professional who thrives on precision, safety, and efficiency. You will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles, rigging cranes and heavy machinery, and supporting construction projects with expert materials handling. Your expertise will ensure our fleet operates smoothly, delivering critical equipment to construction sites and supporting project timelines with enthusiasm and professionalism. Duties Safely operate commercial motor vehicles, including boom trucks, forklifts, backhoes, excavators, and other heavy equipment to transport cranes and materials Rig cranes and heavy machinery securely for transport or setup at construction sites, ensuring all safety protocols are followed Handle materials efficiently within warehouses or construction sites, including loading and unloading shipments with precision Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles, cranes, rigging gear, and safety equipment before each shift to maintain optimal operational standards Assist with shipping & receiving tasks by managing inventory movement, documenting transfers, and maintaining accurate records Coordinate with construction teams to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials while adhering to safety regulations Maintain detailed logs of daily operations, vehicle maintenance needs, and safety checks to support compliance and operational excellence Experience Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license; experience operating heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, boom trucks, excavators, or backhoes is highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting techniques Hands-on rigging experience for crane setup and transportation is essential Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety standards and materials handling procedures Knowledge of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving processes Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment safely in diverse environments Prior work involving construction projects or industrial logistics will be considered a strong asset This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your skills in heavy equipment operation and rigging make a real impact. Pay:
$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
